From spring cultivations through silage and harvest to muck spreading in the autumn, Jake can step in as an extra driver when there’s more work than hands.
Whether it’s a field drain that needs sorting, a trench for services or a site to clear and prepare before work starts, Jake operates the digger with care for the ground and what’s under it.
Good stockmanship is about patience and knowing the animals. Jake can cover daily feeding and checks, or lend a hand when the whole flock or herd needs gathering and handling.
Jake has been cutting lawns and trimming hedges since his early teens. He still takes on this work with smaller equipment, alongside the bigger farm and groundworks jobs.
