Lancashire born, farm and field bred

Jake Rimmer

Jake started out cutting lawns and trimming hedges in his early teens. Over the years that grew into full-size agricultural machinery, but he still keeps his hand in with smaller equipment for lawns and hedges.

Today Jake trades as JR Contracting, turning his hand to whatever the season brings: time in the tractor cab, groundworks on the digger, looking after cattle and sheep, and the lawns and hedges he started with.

A very proud Lancastrian, Jake has also captained Lancashire at rugby, and brings the same commitment and teamwork to every job.

Farmers and contractors know what they’re getting: someone who turns up, looks after the machinery and the stock, and leaves the job tidy.
